This is pop but not as you know it. Sohodolls are the UK's most unique band combining old school brit electro with hard-as-nails beats, dogs bollocks guitars and pertinent lyrics. This band is heart, soul, glamour and bile.

Monarch hits the floor
Last year Sohodolls released their debut single, Prince Harry, through Alan 'Primal Scream, Oasis, Libertines' McGee's label Poptones. Their disco-punk tune, which derides american girls who want to marry british royals, reached 47 in the UK charts and 7 in the alternative chart (all 1000 of the limited edition vinyls sold out in the first week). It's a regular on UK and Continental dancefloors as well as German, Austrian and Italian alternative fm radio.
